Oakbank School is a dual specialist Sports College and Technology College.

History

Oakbank was originaly founded as Keighley Boy's Grammar School, and became a Comprehensive School in the 1970s. It used to be a 13-18 upper school but reverted back to and 11-18 secondary school in the Milleniuem reorganisation.

Curriculum

The school performs well under the England average at GCSE and A level; in this respect it is not much different to many schools in Bradford LEA.

ixth Form

Oakbank students have the choice of staying on to Sixth Form and continue further study to gain more qualifications and degrees in a variety of subjects.
