"pagename" is an extinct genus from a well known class of fossil marine arthropods, the trilobites. It lived from 501-490 million years ago during the Dresbachian faunal stage of the late Cambrian Period.

The Genus was established by RESSER in the year 1935, the type species is "Weeksinia unispina" (WALCOTT, 1916) from the Weeks Fm. at the North Canyon, Millard County, Utah.
Charles Doolittle Walcott discriped it first as "Asaphiscus? unispinus" what show that show that he was not sure in what genus this new species belongs.
