* BilaspurFrom Syed Sameer Azam Zaidi - DARBAR KAKROULI: These villages are mainly inhabited by Zaidi Syeds descendants of
Zaid Ash-Shaheed or Zayd Shaheed through Sayyid Abul farah Wasti, some of them are believed to be the descendents of theSaiyid Brothers , the king makers ofthe lesser Mughal era. According to Saiyid Athar Abbas Rizvi in his "A Socio-Intellectual History of the Isna 'Ashari Shi'is in India," they are considered among the most authenticateSayyid s, along with the saadats or sayyids of Nasirabad andJais , ofRaebareli district. One of the verifiable reasons is that they have a longstanding tradition of maintaining theirShajra-e-Nasab (Syed family tree,) which was an easily verifiable document copied by hand until this day. Main occupation of the people is farming and the land in the area is quite fertile. Main crops are wheat, rice and sugarcane. There are lots of mango orchards around. Sandhawli is an important village in the area which has contributed to the intelligentsia.References
