Weldon Haire

Weldon Haire

M. Weldon Haire (died August 14, 2007) was the public address announcer at the Boston Garden from 1954–1978. He was the PA announcer for Celtics and Bruins games as well as the Beanpot. During the 1978 Beanpot, Haire was one of the few people able to leave the Garden due to the Blizzard of '78.
