Monty Sharma is a music composer from India scoring music for Bollywood.[1]

Early life
Monty Sharma was born on 17 April 1970 in Mumbai. Monty started learning music at the age of five. He had the opportunity to learn under the guidance of his grand father Pandit Ram Prasad Sharma. Monty is nephew of Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma of Laxmikat-Pyarelal fame. Monty started his career as a professional keyboard player with Laxmikat-Pyarelal for the film Mr. India at the age of sixteen. He worked with all the well known music directors such as Laxmikant Pyeralal , R.D. Burman, Rajesh Roshan, Nadeem Shravan, Jatin Lalit , Ismail Darbar , Sanjeev Darshan for many bollywood films.
He was a member of judges' panel of the popular reality show STAR Voice of India 2.
