The Book of Jesse is an online
graphic novel and print comic written by Thomas Foster and Ron Morgan and illustrated by Takis Simon, first published in April 2004. It tells the story of Jesse Whitethorne, daughter of thePresident of the United States , and how one fateful night in Tokyo irrevocably changes the course of her life. Seized bycirrhosis of her liver, a life-saving transplant is clandestinely ordered by the President, and the aftermath will have wide-spread consequences for the entire planet.
