He started his career as a Striker but he never could convince his managers of his worth in that position. However, thanks to hard work and determination he always finds a place in Emelec's first team, and each new manager that arrives uses Estacio in various positions,including wing back in noth sides of the pitch, defensive midfielder, attacking midfielder, and striker.
