Giorgos Kastrinakis

Giorgos Kastrinakis or George Kastrinakis ("in Greek": Γιώργος Καστρινάκης) (born 1950) is a retired Greek American former professional basketball player. He played basketball professionally for many years in the Greek A1 Basketball League.

Playing career

Kastrinakis was one of two long-time stars on the Olympiacos Piraeus basketball team along with fellow Greek American Steve Giatzoglou and he also was one of the stars of the Greece national basketball team during the 1970s era.

With Olympiacos he won 2 Greek Championships in the years 1976 and 1978 and 4 Greek Basketball Cups in the years 1976, 1977, 1978, and 1980.

Kastrinakis competed in the Eurobasket 1973, Eurobasket 1975, and Eurobasket 1979 with the Greek National Basketball Team.
