Robert W. Richardson, also known as Bob Richardson (

Richardson Dies at age 96] ] ) was an American writer andnarrow gauge railway preservationist.Richardson moved with his parents to
Akron, Ohio in 1915, and attended high school there. He started a small print shop, which closed in 1937. A keenphilatelist , he worked forGeorge Linn as the second editor of "Linn's Weekly Stamp News". In the 1940s, working as an advertising rep, he made repeated trips toColorado to tour the narrow gauge railways there. In 1948 he moved toAlamosa and opened the Narrow Gauge Motel there. He edited "Narrow Gauge News" from 1948 to 1958, and published various books chronicling narrow gauge railways. He co-founded theColorado Railroad Museum in 1958, serving as Executive Director until 1991. The Museum's library is named after him. [ [http://www.crrm.org/train_library.htm Robert W.
