Rure-Ke-Kalan or simply called Rureke Kalan is a small village with a population of about 5000 people. This village is situated on Barnala to Mansa Road, approximately 17 km from Barnala. The village is located in TAPA sub Division of BARNALA district of Punjab State in India. The people are under educated but soft spoken, reliable and hard working. The village has one High School, two private model schools, one primary health dispensary, one veterinary dispensary, post office, two banks and so many business shops.
