Team Spirit was a joint military training exercise of
United States Forces Korea and theMilitary of South Korea held between 1976 and 1993. The exercise was scheduled from 1994 to 1996 but cancelled in each year as part ofdiplomacy to encourage theGovernment of North Korea to disable theNorth Korean nuclear weapons program . [ cite web
