Edna Madzongwe (born July 11 1943) is the President of the Senate of Zimbabwe. [ cite web|url=http://www.parlzim.gov.zw/inside.aspx?mpgid=2&spid=8|title=Parliament of Zimbabwe |accessdate=2008-02-06 ] She was previously Deputy-Secretary for Production and Labor.

She was elected to the presidency of the Senate on November 30 2005. In the March 2008 parliamentary election, she was re-elected to the Senate from Chegutu constituency, receiving 23,032 votes against 14,275 for Violet Paneairi Mokoesti of the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC-Tsvangirai). Gibson Sibanda, whose candidacy was supported by the two MDC factions (MDC-Tsvangirai and MDC-Mutambara), received 28 votes.
