Rajstrakuthas were in hidings during the invasion of Bahamans. They were persecuted by the rulers of these kingdoms to accept Islam. They fled to the neighboring districts in today’s Andhra Pradesh. They were safe among the people until the arrival of Nizams.

This decision was taken by the ministers’ council for the royal at the court there were possibilities of rebellion (in alliance with other neighboring rebels in Today’s Maharashtra) which would spark a civil war.Some of them accepted Islam and were given higher positions in the court of Bahamans.Some endured the persecution and remained as Hindus. Later they were given freedom to profess their religion.
