Avanti bikes is an Australasian company which orginiated from
New Zealand and now distributesbicycles to many countires withinOceania .Avanti put its firstbike into theNew Zealand market in 1985 and since then has built its range to over 80 models catering for all areas ofcycling . In 1991 Avanti went over theTasman and set up a sister company inAustralia which has been well adopted in the market.
Throughout its history Avanti has invested itself into promoting the sport ofcycling with many major events held inAustralia andNew Zealand being sponsored by the brand. Renouned UK bike company Focus is currently using a rebranded Avanti Chrono frame for their Izalco Chrono's these bikes are also supplied to the German Cycling Team.A limited release was offered to riders in the form of an evolution of the Chrono which has a world first design of adopting the Oval Jetstream Technology into the rear stay of a bike creating less drag. This new design was ridden to first in his age group by Greg Fraine at the Ironman World Champs in Kona, Hawaii.
