Andrezej Kunowski

Andrzej Kunowski (born 1957 in Poland) is a Polish murderer who is currently imprisoned in England.

Kunowski murdered a 12-year-old Macedonian girl, Katerina Koneva, in North London in 1998. He was found guilty of her murder at the Old Bailey on 31 March 2004 and sentenced to life imprisonment. After his trial, it was revealed that Kunowski had committed more than 20 sex attacks since the mid 1970s. One of these attacks included a sexual assault on his cell mate while he was in prison.

On 23 February 2008, The Times reported that Kunowski was one of around 50 prisoners who had been issued with whole life tariffs in England and Wales and were unlikely ever to be released.
