- Polbrock
Polbrock is a small hamlet in
Cornwall ,England 1¾ miles South East ofWadebridge at map reference SX014695. There are a small number of houses in Polbrock but it is most notable for the twin bridges that allow the road to cross theRiver Camel and theCamel Trail (previously theBodmin and Wadebridge Railway ). By road this is the first crossing of the River Camel upstream of Wadebridge, the next being at Nanstallon 2 miles further. Polbrock is also the first road access point to the Camel Trail when travelling from Wadebridge towardsBodmin .There is also a small car park and picnic area from which a footpath leads through Bishops Wood to Hustyn Mill.
