Targumatik

Targumatik is a machine translation program which was developed by the Israeli programmer Larry Smith.

Targumatik is capable of automatically translating complete texts from English to Hebrew and vice versa.

The current machine translation technologies and the computer Artificial intelligence still is not capable of translating text between languages without any mistakes and therefore Targumatik is not intended for users with no knowledge in Hebrew nor English at all. Targumatik was planned first and foremost as a work tool for users whom have a reasonable knowledge in English and in Hebrew, to translate texts between English and Hebrew from Word processors, from Web pages or from E-mails in order to prepare a preliminary draft in the destined language, which they would be able to further edit and to improve.
