The Al-Harm(1061- 1387 hijri) started off as protectors of the Kaaba in the Holy Mosque Al Harm. The were called Al-Harm by a Caliph and that time.

Before 700 years ago, The Tribe of Al-Harm migrated from the city called (Aenze) near Medina in Saudi Arabia and lived in the town of Bandar Asloh. Later on, the island of Bahrain was under the control of Al-Harm for a period of time but faced military problems before Sheikh Nasser was a ruler of Busheher at the end of the Safawya. government.

The Senate of Al-Harm at that time was Sheikh Saqr, Sheikh Ali, Sheikh Ghaith, Sheikh Abdel Rahman, Sheikh Abdul Wahid, Sheikh Ahmed and Sheikh Khalfan and Sheikh Ibrahim.

In a place called Aslooha there were three tribes present (Nasori Tamimi and Maliki) Conflicts were common between the Al-Harm tribe and Nsouri tribe. Sheikh Saqr Al-Tamimi was a disturbed man and he was also full of jealousy. Sheikh Saqr has requested to marry Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Haremi’s daughter but Sheikh Ibrahim rejecting the request of Saqr al-Tamimi. So as a result to this rejection Sheikh Saqr grouped up a collection of strong fighters which ended up in a victory for Al-Harm.

Sheikh Bohind was a brave and strong warrior, in his time Al-Harm participated in a lot of battles with a victorious result. After the arrest of Sheikh Mohammed and Ahmed Khalfan Al-Haremi Sheikh Bohind was forced to take control over the military forces of the arrested. He also controlled various cities on the outskirts of Alk. From time to time Statesmen come to the region to take money and taxes, but Sheikh Bohind was not able to pay taxes so he decided to immigrate to Qatar. In the transfer to Qatar there was a struggle over leadership amongst local tribes in Qatar and Bahrain which ended up occupied by Al-Zubara before the Bahraini tribes.

In the meantime, Sheikh Ali (Ruler of Qatar)heard about the courage of Sheikh Bohind, so Sheikh Ali asked Sheikh Bohind to accompany and help him in the process of freeing the city of Zubara, Sheikh Bohind asked for 20 men and 40 camels. After the favour was done, Sheikh Bohind began his movement to Zubara at night. When he reached the city men with their camels and began to dig trenches. The next morning the Bahraini army launched an attack on the Qatari tribes, Sheikh Bohind ordered his tribe members to fire at them which killed a large number of Bahrainis in this confrontation. The impact liberated Zubara from the hands of Bahrainis and the Qatari flag was then raised upon it.

This battle was made into history between Qatari and Bahraini people as Sheikh Bohind Al-Haremi liberated the city in the Battle of Zubara.

After Sheikh Abdullah Bohind Al Haremi, the Al-Harm tribe carried strength and courage amongst each other.

Now days, after the Al-Harm tribe were part of the Persian Empire, the Al-Harm were spread around the Persian Gulf also parts of the surrounding countries, starting from Iraq to Oman(Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman) so the Al-Harm tribe might be considered one of the biggest families in the Persian Gulf.
