Sabina Umeh

Sabina Umeh (now Sabina Umeh-Akamune) is a Nigerian singer/songwriter and model.

Pageant

In 1990, Umeh took over from Regina Askia as the new Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria in 1990 after winning the pageant. She went on to participate in Miss Universe and Miss World that same year, where she won the Miss Personality award.

Post Pageant

After her reign as MBGN, she pursued a career in modelling and singing, and was based in London. She is now based in Atlanta, London and Lagos. A graduate of Theatre Arts who specialises in Dance, Choreography and Acting , Umeh is co-founder of music production company "Juicygroove" of which is she Artistic Director.

Umeh is now married to Nigerian fashion designer and Nollywood actor Kesse Jabari.
