Two Thousand Trees Festival

2000trees Festival

2000trees is a green and ethical music festival, held at Upcote Farm, Withington, near Cheltenham in Gloucestershire. It offers a diverse selection of more than 50 acts, from rock to hip hop, indie to folk, metal to acoustic acts and pop to dance DJs.

It was started by a group of six friends in 2007, who grew tired of being made to pay so much at other festivals to see the bands they love. They decided to create a value for money, ethical alternative, which also raises awareness of environmental concerns.

A green festival. An ethical festival. A music festival. For us, 2000trees is all about achieving a friendly and intimate festival experience

Currently, the festival consists of three stages

-The Tree House (main stage)

-Leaf Lounge (acoustic stage)

-The Greenhouse (small dj 'shed')

Plans for the 2008 festival are under way; set to take place on the 11th and 12th of July and an initial line-up has been announced including headliners Reuben (Friday) and Art Brut (Saturday)
