Trevanson

Trevanson

Trevanson is a small hamlet that is part of the town of Wadebridge in Cornwall in the parish of St Breock. In 1993 a bypass on the A39 was built (The Atlantic Highway) and this effectively separated Trevanson from the rest of Wadebridge making it only accessible over a small road bridge. [http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/136786] In this image Trevanson is to the right of the A39 and shows the bridge that links it to Wadebridge.

The hamlet has about 20 homes and is the starting place of footpaths leading to the village of Edmonton and also across country to Tregunna and the Camel Trail the foot and cycle path linking Padstow, Wadebridge, Bodmin and on to Bodmin Moor at Poley's Bridge.
