Charles Edward Curzon

Charles Edward Curzon was the 6th Anglican Bishop of Stepney from 1928 ["Ecclesiastical News. The Bishop Of Stepney Consecrated. (Official Appointments and Notices)" The Times Friday, Oct 19, 1928; pg. 19; Issue 45028; col E ] until 1936 when he was appointed Bishop of Exeter [ "New Bishop Of Exeter Right Rev. C. E. Curzon Appointed (Official Appointments and Notices)" The Times Tuesday, Sep 15, 1936; pg. 17; Issue 47480; col C ] . He was born in 1878 [“Who was Who 1897-1990" London, A & C Black, 1991 ISBN 071363457X] and educated at Lancaster Royal Grammar School and Christ's College, Cambridge before embarking on an ecclesiastical career with a Curacy at West Kensington. Incumbencies at Sheffield [ [http://vision.edina.ac.uk/relationships.jsp;jsessionid=16670BEA9FCAFD71CF67ACE77DFBBA7F?u_id=10467962 St Oswald’s] ] and Goole followed before elevation to the Suffragan Bishopric of Bishop of Stepney in 1928, a post he held until promotion to the Exeter See. He died in 1954.
