- Camp Tockwogh
Camp Tockwogh is located on over 300 acres of land on the Eastern shore of
Maryland . The property is located on theCheasapeake Bay . The property was purchased in 1938 by theYMCA ofDelaware and the camp operates as a branch of that organization to this day.The camp originally was only for boys. In 1961, the
YMCA invited the Wilmington Young Women's Christian Association to co-sponsor a girls' camp at Tockwogh. In 1963 girls the camp was open to girls.The camp has many water sports including
sailing ,water skiing , andswimming as well ashorseback riding ,archery ,photography and many other activities.The camp hosts over 2000 campers during its summer program. It also has a
