Anadyrskiy Liman

Anadyrskiy Liman ( _ru. Анадырский Лиман) is an estuary on the Gulf of Anadyr in Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Siberia, the Russian Federation. It is called a liman because the entry to the Gulf is partially blocked by a bar of sediments. The channel into the Gulf of Anadyr through the bar is located at coord|64|29|51|N|178|23|29|E|.

Anadyrskiy Liman is divided into three parts the northern series of lakes, the southern lake and the big lagoon on the east. The town of Anadyr is on the south promontory at the western edge of the big lagoon. Anadyrskiy Liman is fed by three major rivers: the Anadyr, the Kanchalan and the Velikaya.
