Mike McGinnity is a former chairman of Coventry City Football Club. He now has the position of life president at the club following resigning as chairman in 2006 due to ongoing health problems and over. He was Assistant Chairman and claimed to have no knowledge of some of the dealings of his predecessor. McGinnity, Richardson and Robinson are affectionately known as 'The Three Amigo's' by CCFC supporters. He was succeeded by Geoffrey Robinson MP and later Ray Ranson, the former footballer turned entrepreneur.
McGinnity became chairman in 2002, replacing Bryan Richardson, after eight years as deputy chairman of the club.[1] McGinnity also has an MBE.
