Caracas, VenezuelaBats: Right Throws: Right Mario Lisson Ortega (born May 31, 1984 in Caracas, Miranda State, Venezuela) is a professional baseball shortstop. Signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Kansas City Royals on April 1, 2002. He most recently played for the Class AAA Omaha Royals. He also has played in the Venezuelan Winter League with the team Leones del Caracas.
On January 25, 2010, Lisson was designated for assignment by the Royals to make room on the roster for Rick Ankiel.
