Killian Young

Killian Young is an Irish Gaelic footballer with the Renard club and Kerry county team.

Playing career

Having appeared for Kerry in the All-Ireland Minor Football Championship and All-Ireland Under-21 Football Championship, Young broke onto the Kerry senior side in 2007. He took over the number 7 jersey from Aidan O'Mahony after the latter moved to centre-back to replace Séamus Moynihan. Young played in this positin in the National Football League and retained his place for the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship. He was a member of the Kerry team that won the Munster Senior Football Championship and then the overall All-Ireland championship. He also won the Young Player of the Year award.
