- MI audio
MI Audio is a guitar effect and amplifier company in NSW, Australia. They are the largest Boutique Pedal builder in Australia. The company is named after creator Michael Ibrihim in that MI is his initials.
History
MI Audio was founded in 2002 by Michael Ibrahim. The company was created due to the success of the Tube Zone Overdrive pedal, which was first being created by Ibrihim and sold to family and friends in 1995. To this day the Tube Zone Overdrive continues to be the flagship overdrive pedal in the MI Audio range.
Over the next few years Ibrihim continued to design and release pedals including the Blue Boy Overdrive and the GI & Neo Fuzz boxes.
In 2005 on the 5th of December the company grew to such a size that it was relocated into industrial premises and extra people were hired to assist in keeping up with the demand for their pedals. In 2006 the industrial premises was outgrown and the company once again shifted operations into a larger industrial building [Official Website]
