J. Robert Welsh Power Plant is a base load, coal fired, electrical power station located at coord|33|03|18|N|94|50|22|W|display=inline,title, southeast of Mount Pleasant, Texas in Titus County, Texas.
All three units use sub-bituminous coal mined from the Powder River Basin shipped via rail. Named after former SWEPCO president J. Robert Welsh.
