Sarah Teitel (born December 11, 1979) is a Canada musician, artist and writer.
Teitel was born in Toronto and grew up in Thornhill, Ontario. Teitel has released two albums of original material, Stories and Music for the Mildly Suicidal in 2005, and On the Wing in 2007.[1] As a writer, Teitel's articles have appeared in The Globe and Mail, Saturday Night, and the Toronto Star. Her poetry was covered in a Toronto Star article in 2006.[2] Teitel also designs and oversees the Sarah T. line of handpainted vintage accessories, sold in Toronto and New York City boutiques. In addition, she is a painter and gallerist.[citation needed]
In collaboration with Shira Leuchter, Teitel is the creator and curator of Bardbie, a series of slideshow presentations that illustrate epic tales through the medium of Barbie dolls.[citation needed]
