The company manufactured a range of turntables, amplifiers and other equipment.
In the early 1950s BSR offered a reasonably priced autochanger to Samuel Margolin and this was used in his Dansette record player, over one million of these were manufactured over the next twenty years [ [http://www.dansettes.co.uk/history.htm History of the "Dansette" with Samuel Margolin.] ] [ [http://www.dansettes.co.uk/goldmine.htm Collecting Dansette Phonographs] ] .
BSR ceased production in 1985
