Sharon Dunn

Sharon Dunn (born August 24, 1953 in Sydney, Nova Scotia) is a Canadian journalist.

Biography

A graduate of Dalhousie University, Dunn began her career in broadcasting at CJCB-TV in Sydney, Nova Scotia in 1975, quickly advancing to CBC Halifax as the six o’clock television newsanchor. She came to Toronto in 1979 to anchor the CBC Toronto "News at Six", and then 11, taking a leave of absence in 1984 to have her first child.

Dunn, who is now a writer, was a regular columnist for the "National Post", and has also written for "Reader's Digest" and "Maclean's". Dunn has been syndicated by "The New York Times". She lives in Toronto, Ontario and has two sons.
