Susana Dosamantes (born on January 9 1948 in Guadalajara Mexico, (real name Susana Rue Riestra) is a Mexican actress. She is mother of singer Paulina Rubio, and has worked in around 50 movies and TV series'. Divorced from Enrique Rubio, the father of her children Paulina and Enrique Rubio. She has been on many TV shows and novelas (Spanish soap-operas). She is currently working on the soap-opera "El Juramento".

Susana has filed a lawsuit against Mexican doctor Nicolas Zaur Mina for medical malpratice, stemming from a botched knee surgery in 2002 that left her in constant pain and nearly crippled. The suit is still pending.
