Radio Diamonds 1503am is a radio station based at Nene Park Football Stadium, in Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire home of Rushden & Diamonds Football Club, offering music, chat, and live commentary. The station has been in existence since the 1995/1996 season, but has since been stopped and restarted due to financial difficulties within the football club, when club founder, long-term chairman and head of Dr. Martens shoe empire Max Griggs left the club. This meant that players, staff, and directors had to either take huge pay-cuts, or leave, and resulted in the end of many different parts of the club having to be closed, this meant there was only a matter of time before the radio station was closed. Radio Diamonds was eventually re-started during pre-season in 2006/2007.

Radio Diamonds is currently running during every Rushden & Diamonds home match on a Restricted Service License (R.S.L), and runs on the 1503am frequency. The signal coverage area changes severely dependent on the weather. Irthlingborough, Higham Ferrers and Wellingborough can usually reach them, but it has been known to have been picked up in other counties, as far as central Bedford, Bedfordshire 17 miles south of Irthlingborough and as far as Peterborough, Cambridgeshire 30 miles north of the station. There is a regular Saturday schedule (shown below), ran by regular voluntary presenters (also shown below).

The station is also streamed live over the internet on [http://www.radiodiamonds1503am.co.uk] .

There are many different plans for Radio Diamonds, in the future. Eventually the staff wish to make the station a full-time community station serving the Irthlingborough. The station also plans to offer a weekly podcast.
