Cecil B. Moore, also known as Cecil B. Moore/Temple University, is a subway stop on the SEPTA Broad Street Line in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a local station, and thus has four tracks, with only the outer two being served. There are separate fare control areas for northbound and southbound trains, with no crossover, and a large pavilion entrance with an escalator on the northbound side. This is the main station serving Temple University, and therefore is one of the busiest stops on the line. Before and after classes, the platforms at this station sometimes become dangerously overcrowded with students waiting for trains home.Source needed|date=February 2008 Susquehanna–Dauphin Station, six blocks north, also serves Temple University, and although it doesn't bear it in its name, is actually closer to many of the academic and residential buildings on campus than is Cecil B. Moore.
Transfer is available at Cecil B. Moore station to the #3 surface transit route, which provides service along Cecil B. Moore Avenue.
As of June 2007, Cecil B. Moore had an average of 5,644 daily boardings. [PCPC North Broad St. Transportation and Access Study, June 2007.]
