Amy Hanaialiʻi Gilliom

Amy Hanaialiʻi Gilliom is a Hawaiian vocalist and song writer from Maui. Her album Generation_Hawaii won four Na_Hoku Hanohano Awards in 2007: Album of the year, Hawaiian Album of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, and Best Engineered Album.

The Na Hoku Hanohano Awards are the Hawaii recording industry's regional equivelant of the Grammy Awards. Amy was also one of the five finalists for the 2006 Grammy Award for best Best Hawaiian Music Album but did not win.

Although she performed, recorded, and toured for several years with fellow Hawaiian music artist Willie_K, the producer of her first hit album, "Hawaiian Tradition," they were never married.

When growing up, Amy and her family (brother Eric_Gilliom, father Lloyd, and mother Mimi), were involved with the Maui Youth Theater, now known as the Maui_Academy_of_Performing_Arts.
