The towers are the first skyscrapers the city has seen to date and will become the tallest structures in Jordan upon completion, thus surpassing the 31-floor Le Royale Hotel [cite web|url=http://ammanvoice.blogspot.com/2007/08/jordan-gate.html|title=Amman Voice: Jordan Gate|accessdate=2008-04-21|publisher=Jordan Times] .The towers will also host the new Hilton Hotel, the first in Jordan.The developers are Bahrain's Gulf Finance House, the Kuwait Investment and Finance Company (KIFC) [cite web|url=http://www.skyscraperlife.com/jordan/237-project-amman-jordan-gate-towers.html|title=#Project-Amman: Jordan Gate Towers|date=2005-05-30|publisher=Jordan Times|accessdate=2008-02-18] , DTZ, and Al Hamad Contracting Co. To date it is still unknown how tall the towers will be with many estimating approximately 180m and their will be more in Al Abdaly but in the next years.
