William Dean Martin (aka Billy Martin); born June 15, 1981) is an American author and the guitarist and keyboardist for Good Charlotte.

Martin plays Paul Reed Smith guitars and uses Mesa/Boogie amps. He cooperated with the PRS SE team to produce the PRS SE Billy Martin Model. "" is the first book to be published by Billy Martin. It is a children's book about a boy and his pet bat. The bat gets let out of his cage and Damious goes on a journey trying to find his pet. Martin wrote and illustrated the book. The book was expected to be released on Halloween in 2007. Billy wrote a note on his DeviantArt page commenting on the release date of the book:

"You can probably guess by now that my book isn't coming out in October. It's been finished for months now, it's just taking longer than expected to finalize everything. Choosing paper type, fonts, test printing for color corrections, all kinds of stuff I never knew went into publishing a book. I don't know the exact release date at this point, but I will give plenty of notice about it's release as soon as I know."he says. His book is set to be released in autumn of 2009.

Billy Martin uses a variety of Paul Reed Smith guitars including a metallic-silver, mid-to-late 1980s Standard, an emerald, maple top, later-model Custom 24 (with PRS Tremolo), as well as a black "lawsuit" PRS Singlecut model. For amplification, Martin utilizes a variety of Mesa/Boogie amps, including the Dual Rectifier Solo Heads, a Rect-O-Verb 1x12 combo, and several Rectifier straight 4x12 cabinets. Personal life

Billy grew up around the area of Annapolis, Maryland and graduated from Severna Park High School. Martin married his long-term girlfriend, Linzi Williamson on March 1st 2008. Martin confirmed on September 4th that his wife is pregnant with his baby who is due in early 2009.
