Geovert is a specialist civil engineering company in New Zealand and Australia providing effective solutions in natural hazard mitigation, Rockfall protection, Slope stabilisation, Ground engineering, Landslide Mitigation and Industrial Rope Access for construction and Industry.

The company is active in promoting state of the art innovative solutions within civil engineering; construction and industry based projects and has successfully completed significant international commissions.

Geovert works throughout Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and Internationally.

History

Geovert was founded in 2001 after friends Anthony Teen and Josh Green identified a need for specialised civil works and rope access services for larger companies to partner with.

Initially based in Wanaka, the Head Office moved to Christchurch in 2002. The Australian branch opened in 2003 and has completed projects in most states of Australia.

During 2006, Geovert hit the news headlines as a sub-contractor to Solid Energy, Coals of New Zealand. Geovert were commissioned to install a massive 1.7km long rockfall protection barrier protecting the flora & fauna below the mine ridgeline in Stockton, New Zealand, and came into conflict with the Save Happy Valley Campaign, who want to protect the unique native wildlife of the area. Josh Green left the company early in 2008.
