Eleanor Jourdain

Eleanor Jourdain (16 September 1846 – 7 May 1937) was an English academic and author, who rose to fame following a claim that she and a fellow teacher had slipped back in time to the period of the French Revolution while on a trip to Versailles, called the Moberly-Jourdain incident. She wrote a book together with Charlotte Anne Moberly about her experience.
