Hiett Prize

The Hiett Prize is an award presented by the Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture, endowed by DIHC board member Kim Hiett Jordan in the names of her parents. The award (of $50,000) is presented annually to promising scholars in the field of humanities. Its first recipient (in 2005) was historian Dr. Brad Stephan Gregory.
