David Loder

David Loder

David Loder (born 26 January 1964 in Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire, England) is a retired trainer of Thoroughbred racehorses.

David Loder is the son of Simon Loder, of the family of Loder Baronets, by Sandra Fleming, a descendant of Robert Fleming (financier). He was educated at Eton College.

He began his professional career at Newmarket Racecourse in 1992 and trained for thirteen years before retiring in 2005.

He is known for anticipating that Dubai Millennium would become a star horse.

Loder retired after suffering from a virus that prevented him from training as well as he had previously.[1]
