Sisimiut Hydro Power Plant

Sisimiut Hydro Power Plant is a planned hydro power plant near Sisimut, Greenland. The construction started in March 2007 and it expected to be completed in May 2010. The initial capacity of the power plant will be 15 MW. The construction includes 3,000 m3 of concrete constructions, a blasted tunnel with length of 4,700 m and a pressure pipe with length of 400 m. Produced electricity will be transferred to Sisimiut by new convert|27.4|km|mi|1 long high voltage line.
