The shell is an unusually-shaped "
Liarea ", being , umbilicate, and with the base bicarinate. The peristome is only narrowly flanged, and the hydrophanous colour pattern is of irregular axial streaks of pale yellowish-brown upon a dark reddish-brown base.Shell height is up to 7 mm, and width up to 5 mm.
