"Liarea bicarinata" is a species of small land snail, a terrestrial gastropod mollusc in the family Liareidae.

Distribution

This species is endemic to New Zealand, found near Whangarei in Northland in the North Island.

hell description

The shell is an unusually-shaped "Liarea", being , umbilicate, and with the base bicarinate. The peristome is only narrowly flanged, and the hydrophanous colour pattern is of irregular axial streaks of pale yellowish-brown upon a dark reddish-brown base.

Shell height is up to 7 mm, and width up to 5 mm.
