"Liarea egea tessellata" is a subspecies of small land snail, a terrestrial gastropod mollusc in the family Liareidae.

Distribution

This subspecies is endemic to Northland in New Zealand.

hell description

The shell is larger and taller than "Liarea egea egea", with an extra half to one whorl, and has a more complicated hydrophanous pattern of zigzags and tesselations.

Shell height is up to 9.5 mm, and width up to 4.8 mm.
