KNBR

Rod and Bob often joke around about how Rod's LSU Tigers won the BCS Championship while Bob's Fighting Irish went 3-9 [ [http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/clubhouse?teamId=87 Notre Dame Football] ] .

The show comes from 12 to 3 Pacific Time on KNBR 680. Since Rod won their football picks contest, Rod is referred to as The Champ. Callers will often call and say "Hi Fitz and the Champ". They casually talk about "Fitz and Brooks University".

Due to the tremendous height difference between the diminutive Fitz and the basketball-player-sized Rod, they cut a figure reminiscent of Mutt & Jeff, or the number 10. Bob also has a bumper sticker on the back of his Kia Rio that says "Short People Rock!"

Rod's main ride is a moped.

Olympics broadcasts

Fitzgerald served as the play by play announcer for NBC Sports coverage of Water polo at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
