"Liarea turriculata waipoua" is a subspecies of small land snail, a terrestrial gastropod mollusc in the family Liareidae.

Distribution

This subspecies is endemic to New Zealand, found in the North Island north of Auckland.

hell description

The shell spire is about 1.6 times the height of the aperture. Sculpture is of closely spaced narrow membranous axials bearing short bristles.

Shell coloration is uniformly brown, without a hydrophanous pattern, but with a spiral band of dark brown on the upper part of the base.

Shell height is up to 10 mm, and width up to 5 mm.
