The shell spire is about 1.6 times the height of the aperture. Sculpture is of closely spaced narrow membranous axials bearing short bristles.
Shell coloration is uniformly brown, without a hydrophanous pattern, but with a spiral band of dark brown on the upper part of the base.
Shell height is up to 10 mm, and width up to 5 mm.
