footnotes =The Reisterstown Road Plaza, more recently known simply as "The Plaza," is a shopping center and mall located near the Reisterstown Plaza Metro Subway Station. Originally built as an indoor mall, in recent years, much of its structure has been converted into an outdoor shopping center with big box stores.

Previous anchors at the Reisterstown Road Plaza were the now defunct chains of Stewart's, Caldor, Zayre, Ames, Hechinger, and Hecht's. Some of the current anchors include Burlington Coat Factory, Home Depot, National Wholesale Liquidators, Modell's, and Giant Food. Other stores and restaurants include Shoe City, Economy Shoes, Foot Locker, Lot Stores, Popeyes, Applebee's, Panda Express, KFC, Long John Silvers, and Checkers

The Plaza also houses a satellite campus of Baltimore City Community College and the office of vital records for the state of Maryland.
