Richard Jon Brodie (born 8 July 1987) is an English footballer who plays for York City as a striker.

After impressing against Conference National side York City in a FA Cup fourth-qualifying round tie, Brodie trialed with the North Yorkshire club and played in their reserves, whilst also being allowed to play for Benfield in the FA Vase. He eventually signed on transfer deadline day, 31 January 2007, for an undisclosed fee. He scored on his York debut in a 4–0 victory against Altrincham on 10 February 2007, coming on as a substitute in the 64th minute.cite news
