Plot

Timmy notices Cosmo and Wanda's desiring looks whenever they see babies, and decides to question them about this. The two explain that they have no child of their own because the Supreme Fairy Council would not allow any couples to have babies after Cosmo. This is because Cosmo was very dangerous with magic as a baby. Timmy wishes Cosmo and Wanda to have a baby, which would be the first instance of a baby between fairies in 10,000 years.

Timmy later finds out that in fairy society, it is the "men" who have the babies in families. Cosmo becomes visibly pregnant, and his pregnancy comes with several unfortunate side effects, including vomiting and mood swings. At Cosmo's baby shower, Timmy becomes angry at the way Cosmo is treating him, and wishes Cosmo would get lost. Timmy, Wanda, and Jorgen Von Strangle band forces to find Cosmo. But, they break the news of an incredibly magic scallop baby to the Anti-Fairies and Pixies. A battle breaks out between good and evil to find Cosmo's baby. Timmy, Jorgen, and Wanda arrive in the middle of nowhere and find Cosmo, who is about to have the baby. Quickly, they rush to the hospital, where Cosmo delivers. Everyone wonders if it's a boy or a girl. The doctor takes the baby, saying that he needs to take it out into the light to see its gender. Jorgen, (who had been in the restroom), bursts in.

The doctor is then revealed to be Anti-Cosmo. Then another Jorgen bursts in and reveals that the other Jorgen are two of the Pixies. Now Jorgen (who wants to make sure the baby doesn't fall into the wrong hands), the Pixies, Anti-Cosmo, and Mama Cosma (who just wants to hold the baby) are after Cosmo and Wanda's baby. Timmy, Cosmo, Wanda, and their baby, escape. Timmy comes up with a plan, but it fails. Then the Pixies and the Anti-Fairies capture the baby and use its powers to take over the world. In the end, the Lead Pixie and Anti-Cosmo are turned into raisins, which Jorgen puts in his cereal. But he says that he will take the baby and let them visit it every millennium. He then disappears with the baby! But Cosmo and Wanda have their real baby in their hands. The "baby" Jorgen took was the doll they used earlier. Timmy and his two fairies are still curious about whether it is a boy or a girl. The baby then plays with a water gun, and Timmy decides that it is a boy because boys like water guns. The only thing left to do is decide what to name him. Timmy decides to name him Poof because it was his first word. Poof then plays with his new rattle (which Jorgen gave him earlier), and makes the house grow legs. It then runs down the road. Timmy's parents follow. Admitting that all this chasing is good for them and the house has that "new baby smell," Poof then flies to the screen and says , "Poof!!" and flashes the screen to black. The film has been split up into parts. tory Inconsistencies

* The male fairy has the babies, but that begs the question of the purpose of the female fairy.
* Cosmo states that he was the last fairy baby born at the time, although it is fairly obvious that Binky is younger than he is.
* Mama Cosma stated that it was customary for the godchild to throw a baby shower. However, earlier in the story, Cosmo and Wanda explained that the reason they had godchildren was to fill the void of not being able to have biological children.

Cultural references

*Several of the baby names considered before settling on Poof are references to famous people. These include actor Keanu Reeves, actress Tallulah Bankhead, athlete Florence Griffith Joyner, 1980s pop band Kajagoogoo, singer/actor Elvis Presley, singer/actress Liza Minnelli, French military and political leader Napoleon Bonaparte, talk show host Oprah Winfrey, book/movie character Little Lord Fauntleroy, actress Farrah Fawcett, American investor Bill Gates, and actor Tom Bosley and the character Bosley from the 1970s series "Charlie's Angels" (1976). [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1178300/trivia Cultural references] ]

*Chet Ubetcha's line, "Tidal waves are approaching the cities. Dogs and cats are living together. It's mass hysteria!" is a reference to a line in the 1984 film "Ghostbusters", "Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria!"
*The Bee Gees, Kajagoogoo, and former baseball player Darryl Strawberry are mentioned.

*When Cosmo is dressed as a taco delivery boy, he says, "And the burrito is free if I don't get it to you in 30 minutes or less." This is a reference to a Domino's Pizza 30-minute guarantee, where if a pizza does not arrive within 30 minutes of ordering, it's free.
